An opportunity to get involved in mentoring
The University staff mentoring scheme is open for applications Monday 5 May to Friday 30 May 2025. This is for mentoring relationships running from July-December 2025.
The purpose of the scheme
To provide a mentoring provision throughout the University of York, where staff can be matched with more experienced staff (i.e. in terms of grade, expertise in an area etc.) and benefit from their knowledge and experiences to support their development and reach their potential.

Mentoring provides numerous personal and professional benefits throughout all stages of your career.

Briefing session
To provide further information on the mentoring scheme we are holding an online briefing session on Tuesday 6 May 2025 from 2:00 - 3:00pm.

Applying to be a mentee
If you are interested in becoming a mentee, complete the application form and People and Organisational Development will be touch
Mentee applications must be submitted by 5:00pm, Friday 30 May 2025.
Applying to be a mentor
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, complete the application form and People and Organisational Development will be touch.
Applications for being a mentor will remain open indefinitely.
