Congratulations are in order for PhD Student Haddi Malik.

Haddi has won two awards recently, the first is the University of York's Vice Chancellor's Inclusivity Award, Haddi has for his work in helping Afghan refugees settle in York. Haddi ran a number of bake sales and collected toiletries in the department to help refugees who have settled in York.

The second award Haddi has won is the prestigious Yorkshire Asian Young Achiever Award. Haddi has organised trips to refugee camps, helped Afghan refugees to integrate in York. Malik provides mentorship for students who want to enter higher education.
