Meeting on the palaeontology and archaeology of Doggerland

"Recent research on the Pleistocene and Late Glacial landscape, Palaeontology and Archaeology of "Doggerland", the now submerged large region of the southern North Sea basin".

There is a meeting at the University of Hull, jointly organised by the Yorkshire Geological Society and the Hull Geological Society, on Saturday 5th November, entitled "Recent research on the Pleistocene and Late Glacial landscape, Palaeontology and Archaeology of "Doggerland", the now submerged large region of the southern North Sea basin". 

The meeting is in the Cohen Building. It starts at 13.45 and finishes about 17.00 hours. Speakers are Prof. Dr Thijs van Kolfschoten (University of Leiden, The Netherlands), Dr Philip Murgatroyd (University of Bradford), Dr Louise Tizzard (Wessex Archaeology), and Dr Rachel Bynoe (Southampton University and the Natural History Museum). No registration is necessary and non-members are very welcome.
