A short introduction to the concept of Mindfulness, originally a Buddhist meditation practice, which is now being used in the West in various sectors such as education, business and sport to develop focus and concentration as well as enhancing performance while also fostering greater relaxation and awareness. Students will have the chance to take part in short meditative practices covering the following aspects of Mindfulness: breathing, eating, thinking, body awareness and relationships.
