Emergency First Aid At Work

This one day course meets the requirements of and is accredited by the Health and Safety Executive.

The course enables you to give emergency first aid to those who become ill or are injured at work.

The course teaches you skills to deal efficiently with:

• Resuscitation

• Choking

• Anaphylaxis

• Bleeding and blood loss

• Burns and scalds

• Bandaging

Certificates validated by the University of York are given on completition and are valid for three years. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended and is provided by the Department. This course is now fully booked.
