Democracies in Transition

On 18-19 April CAHR will host a second international workshop on Democracies in Transition: Austerity and Activism in Southern Europe.

Attendees will include a number of high-profile participants from Greece and Spain. With funding from the University research pump prime fund, CAHR is involved in developing research projects and funding proposals to explore the changing face of activism in the context of austerity and the other challenges facing Southern Europe e.g. the immigrant and refugee crisis.
