Women on the Front Line: Voices of Dissent

Saturday 15 March 2014, 10.30AM to 12.30 pm

International human rights defenders hosted by the Centre for Applied Human Rights will perform narratives, poems and conversations inspired by the women who have shaped their lives and human rights work.

Hailing from Iran, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Somalia, the human rights defenders will take to the stage for their first public performance, to share the stories of the unseen women who are changing the world.

The performance will be followed by a Q&A with the human rights defenders and representatives from the Centre for Applied Human Rights.
