Turning Tides - International Human Rights Day Celebration

Turning Tides, International Human Rights Day 2014

Wednesday 10 December 2014, 7.30PM to 9.30pm

Turning Tides is a collection of raw stories, found narratives, lived experiences and testimonies of witness, offered by the international human rights defenders at the Centre for Applied Human Rights, to celebrate International Human Rights Day.

With stories from China, Brazil, Russia, Sudan, Kenya, Afghanistan and Yemen, the human rights defenders take us on a narrative tour that is challenging yet hopeful and is also a gentle call to action.

A staged reading followed by Q&A.

Admission is free and open for all - please book your free ticket through Eventbrite to ensure a seat.
