William Gomes will speak under the title "Practice of torture and ill treatment: prospects for effective prevention in Bangladesh" and Karak Miakol will discuss "The empowerment of women in South Sudan". The talks will be followed by a Q&A session with the speakers. Admission to the event is free and it is open to everyone.
