Filling the Digital Preservation Gap

Posted on 14 July 2015

The Borthwick has been collaborating with colleagues at York and Hull to produce a report about the preservation of research data

Over the past 3 months the University of York and the University of Hull have been working on a project to investigate the digital archiving solution Archivematica and assessing its potential for the preservation of research data. This project has been funded by Jisc as part of their Research Data Spring programme.

We are pleased to announce that phase 1 of this project is now complete and we have released an extensive two part report detailing our findings.

For more information on this project and to download the report please visit our digital preservation blog. Further information on the project is also available on our project page.
