What is the Careers Service?
The service is for all University of York students (undergraduates and postgraduates of all years and subjects of study) and graduates.
We can help you:
- think about your future career
- find work experience, including part-time work
- develop your skills
- volunteer in the local community
- prepare for the world of work

We can provide advice, guidance and information about anything to do with careers.

Students and York graduates
Use the Interactive Careers Service to:
- Contact us with your queries
- Manage your details and create an online Careers Profile
- Book appointments with Careers Advisers
- Book events and courses, and manage your bookings (priority to current students)
- Search for vacancies and apply for work
