On Wednesday night, 27th of February 2019, our students triumphed at the Yorkshire Region Royal Television Society Student Awards, winning not just one, not two, but a total of three awards altogether, including one programme and two craft awards.

We proudly present our three winners (top image, L-R):
Owen Edwards (3rd year, BSc Film And Television Production): Craft Award for Camerawork on Big Bad Wolf,
Isaac Smith (BSc Film And Television Production, 2018 graduate): Programme Award for Animation for The Animator,
Sean Mackey (BSc Film And Television Production, 2018 graduate): Craft Award for Camerawork on The Veil.

When Isaac was presented with his award, the head judge said that it was the first time that all four judges had ever been in complete agreement about the winner

We were also the institution with the highest number of shortlisted films (bottom image, all TFTV nominees).

They all deserve our warmest congratulations and we wish them the best of luck for their future.
