Matthew Kemp, an alumni of the Interactive Media course has been shortlisted for the prestigious Grads in Games awards  in the Graduate Impact Award category for his work at Charles Cecil’s Revolution Games. The awards seek to showcase recent graduates and junior staff that have exceeded expectations in a studio role. Particularly focussing on staff that are making their first steps in the industry but are already having a hugely positive impact, not just within their own studio but also towards the industry as a whole.

Kemp said: "I'm delighted to be representing York and the Interactive Media course in this award. The comprehensive skills gained in both the technical and the creative have supported me immensely in my career, alongside an incredibly high standard of tutoring from the course staff who continue to give me guidance long after graduating".

The final selection event is to be held on 6th April at Sheffield Hallam and more information about the awards can be found here.
