Audio Engineering Society (AES) Educational Foundation Awards
If you are interested in applying to our Masters in Film and Television Production with Sound or would like to do a research degree in the field of audio, we encourage applicants to look into the Educational Foundation Awards managed by the Audio Engineering Society.

BAFTA UK Scholarship Programme
The UK Scholarship Programme is part of the charitable activity to support talented people at all stages of their career in film, games and television.
- Funding: £5,000 to £12,000 towards annual course fees

Departmental opportunities for research courses
TFTI PhD bursary
The Department of Theatre, Film, Television and Interactive Media invites applications for a bursary for new and first-year PhD students in any of the Department's subject areas.
- Funding: £15,000 per annum (up to three years)
- Academic year: 2022/23
- Application deadline: Please submit your research proposal (including research question(s), methodological approach and bibliography/references) and a CV to emma.pett@york.ac.uk by 5pm on Friday 6 May 2022. Proposals should not exceed 500-600 words (excluding bibliography) and CVs should not exceed 2 pages.
