Guy Schofield and Jonathan Hook, from the Department of Theatre, Film and Television have been working on a virtual reality project which forms part of a new exhibition at the Yorkshire Museum. The exhibition presents research findings from a Viking camp in Lincolnshire in an immersive reproduction of the camp’s life. Armed with virtual reality helmets, visitors will be transported back to the camp where Vikings camped out in their thousands during the winter of AD 872-3 while they prepared for conquest.
Access to The Guardian's full feature on the exhibition can be read here.
