A CONVERSATION with TANYA RONDER on FRIDAY 7 FEBRUARY at 5.45 p.m. in the Black Box, Department of Theatre, Film and Television - ADMISSION FREE
We are delighted to announce that Tanya Ronder, the author of the stage version of Vernon God Little, will be with us, on the second evening of the run, for a public conversation about the play and her career.
Tanya's most recent play, Table, premiered recently at the National Theatre to enthusiastic views, which hailed its "reflective, inventive" powers and celebrated it as a "beautiful new play". Like Vernon God Little, Table was directed by Tanya's husband, Rufus Norris, now Artistic Director Designate of the National Theatre.
Her other work includes an array of adaptations of major foreign works for leading companies - for instance, Lorca's Blood Wedding (for the Almeida), Ionesco' Macbett (for the Royal Shakespeare Company), Pirandello's Liola (for the National Theatre), and Lope de Vega's Peribanez (for the Young Vic).
Even if you are not seeing Vernon God Little that evening, please feel free to join us for this free event, which will begin as an interview and broaden out into a conversation with the audience.
