A bathtub. A knife. Blue paint. Eggshells.
Crave, the penultimate work of controversial playwright Sarah Kane, charts the disintegration of a human mind under the pressures of love, loss and desire. Whilst contemplating suicide, a young woman wrestles with three ghosts from her past, raising the question of who they are, the crimes they have committed, and whether they can be trusted to tell the truth.
Platform presents a new and bold staging of Crave as their final event of 2017/18, in TFTV’s Black Box Theatre, from the 7th-9th June.
