Alan Boyd’s career spans nearly fifty years in television entertainment, from directing The Royal Variety Performance to overseeing Pop Idol, X-Factor and American Idol. He’s run a major ITV franchise holder, managed one of Britain’s biggest Indies and is a former Channel 3 network scheduler. Few people know more about how TV entertainment is made – and few can provide you with a better insight into where TV entertainment is going in the future.
