This is the story of Odysseus' journey over long years and treacherous seas as he makes his way back to his homeland. It is a journey that will see him face gods and monsters, difficult choices, and bloody revenge. He must do whatever it takes to return to his beloved wife and son.
A new adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey from a translation by Emily Wilson. Along with a variety of events across the weekend, the productions will be performed live and streamed to you by emerging theatre-makers from the University of York. You can catch one, two, or even all three parts of this reimagined and gripping epic adventure.
