Emergence Theatre Festival

Welcome to Emergence Festival 2021!

Emergence Festival is a virtual festival of eclectic arts, celebrating emerging artists. Emergence Festival was never intended to be a solely virtual festival, with the unprecedented times we are living in changing our plans at every hurdle. From a festival with a socially distanced audience, to a hybrid festival with in-person performance and an online audience, to finally being completely virtual, we are unbelievably proud of everything we and the artists involved have achieved.

Zoom has become an unwanted yet trusted best friend through this all and the creativity that has been shown despite the many changes is inspiring to see. We really hope you enjoy your time at Emergence Festival, whether it be from the comfort of your sofa, your bed or even in the bath, this is a unique experience for us all and one we will cherish.
