Having started his career in the camera and electrical departments of television shows across the UK, BAFTA-Winning Cinematographer Laurie Rose has risen to become one of the biggest cinematographers working today. Responsible for the looks behind Peaky Blinders and London Spy, and feature films such as Kill List (2011), Sightseers (2012), A Field in England (2013), Bill (2015), and current theatrical release Free Fire, Rose finished up 2016 as one of Variety’s ‘One to Watch’ filmmakers. Giving a career retrospective on his work as well as where he will go from here, Rose offers a unique perspective into the film industry.
