Playing the Small Screen Symposium
Event details
The symposium is part of a larger project aiming to provoke a more holistic understanding of television acting: encompassing not only the textual analysis of end-products but also the consideration of training, process, performance preparation and execution, and other impacting factors of industry/production.
The event is a launch-point for discussion and debate in this area, bringing together actors, academics and actor-trainers to share ideas and perspectives. By combining academic research with industry-derived insights, this project aims to position the actor at the centre of understanding regarding televisual performance.
