Hear from our current students about why they chose to study at York and their university experience so far.
A world of opportunities
A second-year Music student from Lancaster, Adam chose York because of the vibrant campus and the reputation of the staff. In his downtime Adam enjoys discovering York's many cycle paths as well as taking part in lots of societies - from York Student Television to Chamber Choir.
Space to be myself
Christine is a second-year studying Adult Nursing. She is originally from Nigeria and is based in Stockton-On-Tees. When she's not studying or on placement, Christine enjoys exploring the city's many cafes and relaxing over pizza and a movie with the Disney society.
An international student from Malaysia, Danial is in his final year studying Law on the three year programme. As well as keeping fit with the university's Mixed Martial Arts Club, Danial enjoys catching a film at York's cinemas and walking the ancient city walls.
