I’m Jess, a student from the Department of Archaeology! My time here at the University has been fantastic, filled with friends, fun and super cool activities - from learning about the origins of humanity, to going on road trips with friends.
York as a city is a great place for an archaeology student, with lots of opportunities and historic festivals to enjoy and get involved in. For you to try and imagine what life is like here, I have written a blog about what your first year here may look like on a weekly basis.
Hi, I’m Dan and I’m a first year studying Biochemistry at York! I’ve only been here less than a year so far, but I can say with complete confidence that choosing to come to York was the best decision I could’ve made.
From going into awesome depth on enzymes to using some of the coolest lab equipment in practicals, there really isn’t anything better to wish for if you’re a person interested in Biosciences. I couldn’t recommend more to come to York, enjoy the beautiful campus and throw yourself into the top-class department and courses!
