York Neighbours: Community Outreach Volunteers

Give back to the community by supporting older people with feelings of loneliness. Phone elderly people for a chat and help organise group outings. Great for those looking for experience in social outreach and the charity sector.

Yorkshire Housing: Help At Hand Volunteer

Support people in their homes with tasks such as cooking and shopping, as well as help them build relationships in the community by attending social events. This is a great opportunity for those looking to get into social work.
