Coronavirus update summary

Emergency Student Support Fund opens this week
The next round of the Emergency Student Support Fund opens to applications on Wednesday (30 June). The Fund provides support to students who may be facing immediate issues resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Application deadline: Tuesday 6 July.

Walk-in Covid-19 vaccine clinics
A Covid-19 vaccine clinic being held at the University of York Sport Centre on James Way tomorrow (Tuesday) is now open for some walk-ins between 8.30am and 7.30pm. Please be aware, this is the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and it is for first vaccination doses only. You may have to queue. There are a number of other 'grab-a-jab' clinics planned across York if you can't make it tomorrow.

Covid-19 cases in York - take care
Positive covid cases continue to rise in York. Please remember to follow all Government guidelines. Hands, face, space and fresh air. Think twice before mixing with other households. Get tested regularly and self-isolate if you test positive or if you are told to do so. 

York Postgraduate Interdisciplinary Forum

Throughout the summer, the York Postgraduate Interdisciplinary Forum continues to invite all postgraduates and postdocs to come and listen to their peers introduce their research in a stimulating fortnightly seminar. Bring your own snacks!
