Module summary

In this module, students learn how to take an initial idea for a product or service and create a Business Plan that explores and exploits its potential. The module includes learning about financial planning, making projections, operational planning and other key topics. As part of the learning, students analyse a number of successful businesses to understand how they make money from the product or service and see if these can be applied to their own business ideas. In groups, students work together to create a Business Plan and will present this business concept to a group of “Dragons” in a short, unassessed, pitching session leading to the culmination of a formal Business Plan document.
