Staff attendance

Academic and administrative staff are welcome to attend graduation to celebrate the achievements of their students. Departmental administrators will be sent request forms approximately three months prior to ceremonies for them to forward to any staff member wishing to attend. Please speak to your departmental administrator if you wish to attend graduation - all staff tickets must be requested via this form.

Staff tickets will be sent via email in the week preceding the ceremonies and must be printed out and brought to the ceremonies - unless you are wearing academic dress, in which case this will not be required.

Please arrive at Central Hall 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Staff gowns

The Graduation Office will hire academic dress for any staff member who holds a degree. As part of the ticket request form you will be asked if you wish for robes to be hired for you. It is not compulsory for staff to wear academic dress but those who do will be invited to join the procession into Central Hall at the opening of the ceremony.
