
Colin Salmon
Colin Salmon is an actor, musician and community activist.
Colin has become one of Britain's most renowned actors, having appeared in numerous films and TV productions across a 30-year career. He is perhaps best known for his role as Charles Robinson - M’s Chief of Staff - in the Pierce Brosnan era James Bond films. He made his feature debut as Sgt. Robert Oswald in the British mega-hit mini-series Prime Suspect 2 (1992), which gave him much acclaim among British audiences.
His voice is instantly recognisable across the BBC World service and many documentary narrations and commercials. He is a patron of the African-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, the Richard House Children's Hospice and has been an ambassador for The Prince's Trust for 20 years. He is chair of the Green Park Foundation and continues to play trumpet and steel pan and is a Notting Hill Carnival ambassador. As a founder of Cage Cricket he has also engaged with cricket in Yorkshire and across the globe.
Colin is a father of 4 and husband of 30 years to artist Fiona Hawthorne.
