The graduation ceremony takes place in the main auditorium of Central Hall on Campus West. Please note that guests and graduands sit in different areas of Central Hall. Guests of the same graduand are not required to sit together.
Your seating card
Each graduand is allocated a specific seat to ensure that awards are presented in the correct order.
More information on seating, accessibility and arrangements for children:
There are no individual seats reserved for guests in Central Hall unless specific arrangements have been made in advance. Please follow the directions of stewards when entering Central Hall.
Due to space restrictions within Central Hall, guests are restricted to one laptop-sized bag, handbag or briefcase per person. For security reasons, bags may be searched on entering the hall. Coats, large bags, pushchairs, etc can be left at the free cloakroom in the Exhibition Centre. We do not advise leaving small items such as cameras or phones in the cloakroom. Pushchairs and prams are not permitted within the Central Hall auditorium; if brought to Central Hall they must be left in the foyer at the owner’s risk.
The ceremony will be screened live in the lecture theatre in the Exhibition Centre. Stewards and staff will be happy to direct guests who are unfamiliar with the layout.
