Management students on the following courses can opt to take an additional year abroad between the second and third years. They can select from the department's exclusive exchanges as well as the university-wide opportunities:
BA Business and Management
BSc Business and Management
BSc Accounting, Business Finance and Management
BSc Actuarial Science
BSc in Finance, Operational Research, Management and Statistics
A credit-replacing year, taken in the second year, is only possible for students taking BA/BSc (Hons) in Business & Management. Students can again select from the department specific partners and university-wide exchanges but care should be taken to ensure that compulsory modules required are available at the chosen university.
Spending the summer abroad allows you to get a taste of living and working internationally without committing to a full year.
In addition to our summer schools, Management students have the opportunity to study at the National Chengchi University International Summer School in Taiwan.
Subjects offered include intensive Mandarin Chinese learning and 8 academic intensive courses in the fields of Management, Social Sciences, and Humanities, focusing on Taiwan, China, and East Asia.
For academic queries, including joint honours options, contact your supervisor or the Departmental International Co-ordinator, Dr Simon Sweeney: firstname.lastname@example.org
Undergraduate Management students may also apply to study abroad at one of York’s University-wide partners, which are open to students from most other departments at the University.
