Student Projects Fund

This fund supports student activity by organised groups within the University. These may include YUSU and GSA, the colleges, sports clubs, societies, volunteering groups, and other initiatives. Units within the University can apply for student-facing activity, such as specific projects associated with Together York

Is my group eligible?

We'll support projects that:

  • make opportunities equally accessible for students
  • contribute to the work of the University locally, nationally or internationally
  • contribute to student mental health or wellbeing
  • create an active creative community on campus and beyond
  • create physical spaces that allow students to fulfill their potential.

You can apply for funding to develop projects or for the organisational running of your project.

How to apply

The second (and final) round of applications will close on 10 September 2020.

You'll need to complete a short online form providing some basic information, details about your proposed project, and budgetary information. Applications will be judged by an independent review panel with representation from the University and the two students’ unions.

Read our application guidance for full details before starting your application.
