‌Programme specifications

Programme specifications provide a concise overview of a programme. At York, the principle use of programme specifications is, at present, for quality assurance purposes. However, they contain information which may be of interest to current and potential students and should be written with these audiences in mind.

Departments are responsible for writing and maintaining programme specifications which are published by the Acdemic Support Office on the student web pages, before the start of each academic year. Having a web based programme specifications catalogue enables students, staff, external examiners and others to access accurate programme information. A more robust, long term storage solution is planned for the future. Please note: each year the programme specifications for new entrants will be added.
