Decolonising and Diversifying the Curriculum 

As part of the University‚Äôs commitment to this area of work, the Decolonising and Diversifying the Curriculum Project was launched in 2020 and is coordinated by a Working Group made up of academic and professional services staff, as well as student representatives from the Student Unions. The Award Gap Research Project is exploring how all students may benefit from their education at the University of York, examining any potential barriers to student success. Read more 

Departmental Community Coordinators

The Department Community Coordinator project aims to build academic and departmental communities that create a sense of belonging and are open to and inclusive of all students at York. Read more. 

Peer-Assisted Learning

In PAL, trained upper year students (PAL Leaders) facilitate small collaborative study groups of lower-year peers. Read more.
