COVID-19: Support from ASO and Associate Deans

The Academic Support Office and the Associate Deans for Teaching, Learning and Students are here to help you throughout the Covid19 situation by providing advice and guidance on changing learning, teaching and assessment to online modes, and addressing related pedagogic and academic quality issues.

To simplify access to ASO services on these matters, we are introducing Faculty-level email contact routes, as outlined below.  These Faculty email addresses will enable us to:

  • triage your enquiries to a dedicated team of advisors and your Associate Dean;
  • ensure we can cover contact and communications if individual staff are unavailable;
  • ease staff access to guidance AND coordinate communications back to departments, therefore reducing communications traffic;
  • ensure Associate Deans and support teams are kept informed of emerging issues and priority areas are addressed promptly;
  • support departments in sharing practice.

Please use these Faculty-level email for queries relating to adapting learning, teaching and assessments so we can support you as effectively as possible

The team triaging your email will draw on advisors from across ASO - in academic quality; programme design and related technology; pedagogy; learning enhancement; and SCA - who will coordinate information with the Associate Dean for the faculty.
