This workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on the value of handwritten and electronic annotation as feedback on written student work. This will inolve considering theories of feedback related to developing and progressing students as academic writers; discussion of the practice of annotation in a variety of forms; hands-on practice of annotating work; and discussing the impact of annotation as a feedback tool, including possible alternatives.
