IP & Legal support

Protect Intellectual Property (IP) for use in the public, private and third sectors

Further information

Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind: inventions, literary and artistic works, and symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce. These creations need protection when engaging with external parties to ensure they are not reproduced or devalued and that the owning parties benefit from their use.

A variety of mechanisms can be used for this protection, including patents, copyright and confidential know-how.

The IP & Legal team can advise on the best methods for protecting intellectual property.
