Mental Health First Contact

Mental Health First Contact is a network of trained staff who are a first point of contact if you are experiencing emotional or psychological distress. They provide help on a first aid basis and guide you towards the right support services. You can contact any of the members direct and don't have to be based in the same department. Find out more about the Mental Health First Contact Network.

Confidential Care

Confidential Care is your employee assistance programme. It offers you independent, free and completely confidential telephone support, online resources and, where appropriate, up to five sessions a year of face-to-face counselling. Find out more about Confidential Care.

Online help and resources are also available via Well@York, our staff health and wellbeing website.
