Preparatory works start on Campus East residences

Posted on 6 November 2019

Find out how building work will affect access.

Preparatory site works have begun this week on the new residences project on Campus East. Contractors GRAHAM will be setting up a small site compound on the area adjacent to the Catalyst using barriers and temporary hoardings.

The footpath /cycle lane through the campus will remain open for the short term, though there will be an infrastructure in place to guide pedestrians, cyclists, some delivery vehicles and car parking traffic crossing the pathway between its junctions with Baird Lane and Freboys Lane.

Car parking to the Catalyst will remain open. Accessible parking by the Catalyst and Law and Management will still be reachable via Freboys Lane. Any deliveries to departments in the vicinity of the works will still have access.
