YESI five year anniversary event

To mark turning five, the York Environmental Sustainability Institute (YESI) are holding an event on Monday 8 October from 10am to 6pm in the National STEM Learning Centre.

Award-winning scientists and authors Professor Chris Thomas FRS, Gaia Vince and Claire Nouvian will explore YESI's research during the celebratory event.

We are changing our planet at an unprecedented rate and the impacts are profound. All staff and members of the public are invited to join YESI at the free event to explore how we can address the challenges and harness the opportunities of this human dominated era which many are calling the Anthropocene.
