Children, Young People and Families
For more than 40 years our research has influenced national and local policy and practice, directly impacting on the experiences of children and young people, creating positive change in the lives of children, young people and their families.
As a body of experienced researchers we have consistently led, advised and directed influential research studies at local, national, and international levels. We have an excellent grasp of the policy landscape and a strong track record of research in a wide range of topics.
We are highly regarded in our fields and are invited to act as expert policy advisors to government in the UK as well as abroad. Many prestigious organisations such as national and international research councils, government departments, local authorities and charities commission research from us. We collaborate with national and local policy-makers, practitioners, international NGOs and academic colleagues around the world.
