Honorary Fellow continues busy conference activities

Marilyn Crawshaw delivers presentations as a member of the Donor Conception Network and the steering group of York Human Rights City Network.

Dr Marilyn Crawshaw, an Honorary Fellow from the Department of Social Policy and Social Work, delivered two presentations in early and mid November entitled ‘Raising donor-conceived children – What do research, theory and professional practice tell us?’ – one in London for professionals at a conference called 'From Secrecy and Anonymity to DNA Testing and Facebook: The Changing World of Donor Conception and Your Role in It' and one in Belfast for prospective parents, recipient parents and professionals at a day seminar called 'Becoming a family with the help of a donor'.

Then at the end of last week, Marilyn delivered a presentation called ‘York Human Rights City - Getting there, making it real: Challenges and possibilities’ at a conference on Human Rights Cities in Istanbul, Turkey.
