Welfare conditionality expert Peter Dwyer explains 'political dynamite' of new ruling

Professor Peter Dwyer is featured in Guardian article DWP 'punishing' low-paid full-time workers under new benefits rule. He writes:

[This] is political dynamite. Does the government want to be associated with punishing the working poor? When this happened with tax credits they were forced to take a step back.

Dwyer who is Head of Research at The Department of Social Policy and Social Work leads  a major five year ESRC funded project on welfare conditionality which brings together teams of researchers working in six English and Scottish Universities.
