Dr Victoria Sharley from the University of Bristol will share her research findings from a study into the role of school staff in responding to concerns of child neglect.
The discussion will explore the challenges of identifying child neglect across agencies and professions, and offer recommendations for school staff and children and families social workers, that respond to barriers encountered when working together to safeguard children.
After the event delegates will receive a copy of the presentation, an open access academic article on findings, and a short practice-focused policy briefing with key recommendations
