Safeguarding children and young people; messages from research, implications for practice

This event brings together a number of key speakers who will support you to consider how the latest messages from research in safeguarding children can inform your practice.

Areas covered will include;

  • Communicating with parents in the context of child protection
  • Reflections on learning from serious case reviews
  • The abuse and neglect of young people in care
  • Social workers' understandings of child sexual exploitation and sexually exploited girls
