Child Sexual Exploitation; a research and practice event

Speaker(s): Dr. Lucie Shuker, Research Fellow, and Camille Warrington, Young People’s Participation Development Officer, at The International Centre for Sexually Exploited and Trafficked Young People, at the University of Bedfordshire

This seminar will include;

• A general introduction to child sexual exploitation, covering definitions, types, vulnerabilities, indicators, and impacts

• Challenges to disclosure and identification, consent, victimhood and agency

• Messages from research on effective practice, with an emphasis on children’s rights

• Key messages from the “Making Justice Work” research
