Systems-centered Training Week: A practical approach to change

 Two courses are open to all, and three depend on prior SCT experience and training. Choose one only.

Workshops 17 to 21 September 2018:

Foundations of System-Centred Training

Understand the basic theory of SCT, how it can be applied and discover more about the impact that others have on you, and the influence you have on others.

Making Work Roles Work (for us and our organisations)

This experiential workshop is for those new to SCT as well as those with previous training wanting to apply their skills and explore their challenges in work roles.

  • Understand how to use SCT as we work as a team member
  • Explore how to use SCT to view our work contexts

Intermediate level workshops 16 to 21 September 2018:

Intermediate Skills

The first step in intermediate training, learning how to apply the SCT skills protocols with others.

Advanced Intermediate Skills

Requires previous Intermediate Skills workshop and focuses on deepening understanding and use of the protocols.

Container Training

Work as containers to contribute to the group development within the Making Work Roles Work workshop. Led by Rowena Davis and Juliet Koprowska. 

Applicants must have previously attended the Making Work Roles Work workshop as a member. Contact Rowena Davis at rdavis@rdaconsulting.net to discuss criteria and apply. Applications due by 19 July 2018.

Workshop Leaders

Fran Carter, LSW

Is a licensed SCT practitioner and SCT & SAVI trainer. She is a founding member of the Systems-Centered Training and Research Institute & is a principal in SAVI Communications. Fran is based in Philadelphia, US & consults with & trains individuals, groups & organisations internationally. She is also the Co-Developer of the SAVI Certification Program.

Rowena Davis, MSc

Is an organisational consultant working with private, public & not-for-profit organisations internationally, coaching individuals & teams & facilitating change & leadership development. She runs SCT & SAVI trainings in the US & Europe. She is a licensed SCT practitioner, a certified SAVI trainer & a member of the Systems-Centered Training and Research Institute Board.

Susan Gantt, PhD

I​s Chair of the System-Centered Training and Research Institute and a licensed SCT practitioner, based in Atlanta, USA. She consults and trains internationally in the USA and Europe. She is Emerita faculty at Emory University School of Medicine, Psychiatry department, where she taught and coordinated group psychotherapy training for 29 years. She has co-authored several texts with Yvonne Agazarian and has written about emotional intelligence in organizations and phases of development in organizational work groups.

Ray Haddock, MBChB, FRCPsych

Is a Licensed Systems-Centered Practitioner and SCT trainer, working in the UK and internationally. He has led the Intermediate skills training in York for over 10 years. He has practised as a Consultant Medical Psychotherapist in the UK for over 20 years and trains junior psychiatrists in SCT-based psychotherapy.
