Instructions for using the InterpretersLive! video service

 

The PEDRO study team is delighted to enable British Sign Language users to contact us using a Sign Language interpreter, through the InterpretersLive! video service, provided by Sign Solutions.

Service availability

To connect with the PEDRO study team you will need to pre-book an appointment by contacting the Study Support Officer, Phil Boyle. Phil is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 09.00 to 17.00. Telephone 01844 340737 / 07552 285828 or email phil.boyle@york.ac.uk

Minimum requirements

This service is accessible via a Windows supported devices and Apple Mac. When accessing the service for the first time via IPad or Android device contact us for your free App invitation. You need a webcam and a broadband upload speed of 1mb and Flash player.

The service is compatible with the following browsers:

Google Chrome version 46 and later, Firefox version 45 and later,Opera version 39 and later. If you are using Safari 9 or Internet Explorer 11, when prompted please download the plugin. You will only need to do this once, next time you will be taken straight to the call button.
