The Science and Technology Studies Unit (SATSU), University of York, and the MediaLab, Paris have teamed up to conduct an international project on portable digital identities and the uses of mobile phones in everyday life.

The uses of mobile phones, and more broadly the digital devices we carry with us, are changing our daily practices. The aim of this research is to understand how the arrival of mobile phones has changed our daily lives.
