Also

Bridget Lockyer & Abigail Tazzyman, (3rd year PhD Students, University of York) speaking on Moving Beyond Boundaries: Gender, Knowledge, History

This student-led development programme focused on how women’s and gender history is taught in secondary schools. Working with a local York school, the project has trained eight postgraduate students who have used their research expertise to develop and deliver interactive workshops on different elements of women's history. This session will discuss the findings, examining how we can give students (at any level) a greater and more diverse knowledge of women’s history and encourage independent thought and critical engagement with their own curriculum
